Passion can be defined as a strong, intense feeling or conviction.
During breakfast one morning, my daughter wanted to open a new container of orange juice. My husband stepped in to
ensure the juice remained contained without reenacting the 1989 Exxon-Valdez spill.
Before opening it, he vigorously shook the container because the pulp had settled. He wanted to make sure the juice had it’s intended taste: a strong, intense, sweet orange flavor!
Sometimes we get settled in the routine of life because “That’s how we’ve always done it.” We may not be moved by much of anything because it’s been the same for so long. But what if there’s more? What if we’re capable of more and that’s where our passions lie? To understand what we’re made of, we may need to shake things up!
Changing our environment, trying something new, or just taking a break from the norm may be just what we need to experience more. How much sweeter would life (and your juice) be if you remembered to shake it up every once in awhile?
