Why are we so afraid to give up things for God?
As if we know but don’t believe that He restores more (exceeding abundantly beyond what we could even ask or think, see Ephesians 3:20) than what we sacrifice.
He did it over and over again, but most importantly, He did it for Jesus to Whom those that believe now belong.
Give up your music.
He’ll give it back fuller and more robust.
Give up your words.
He’s got a wealth of them to stir up in you (believe that!).
Give up your friendships.
He’s got an entire family He wants to bestow upon you.
Give up your lifestyle.
He’s got a whole new way of living that (again) is more abundant in sacrifice (see John 10:10).
Give up your way of doing things and submit.
There is more liberty in submission to Him than you could ever imagine.
Give yourself away… to give yourself a way.
