Despite the obvious fact that the King of Luthers was Baptist,
His message was proctored for AMEs, Lutherans and Catholics.
His audience aim was for fugitives and captives – his theme was universal.
It was for Protestants, Jews and Charismatics.
It was for Non-Protestants with a view who fumed
when we dared to detach it…
It was tuned to the sheer masses of black sheep pacifists abused in herded circles.
It doesn’t matter who heard and used it the most versatile.
It doesn’t matter whose words it rebuked as hurtful.
Whether you’re in pews or submerged in throes of the streets is inconsequential.
Truth is truth – horizontal or vertically sorted.
It can’t be misconstrued by hues or reversals of fortune…
What King rehearsed from his dream’s birth to his hearse
escorted a peace that was indomitable.
So though King died, his words and deeds indeed exist
So that diversity can be our strength!
The worst aren’t even exempt from the endowment of his legacy.
As such, within communities as a whole,
We must declare that unity is our goal…
Once such infusing takes control, empowerment IS our destiny!
But before we allow this to enrich our treasury,
We must transfuse its allowance into gifts that let it ring.
He gave it freely – so we mustn’t let it be as we silently cherish it.
We mustn’t let the ‘now’ generation
Be disavowed by a distant station…
You, the youth, are the proud representation of nonviolent heritage.
As such, you can’t gain civil rights
Only to belittle and slight it’s might
For the littlest fights over the freedom of speech’s breached division.
You must doctor kings
Who author dreams
With offerings that reach and release what’s yet to be seen in visions!:
So though your old men have dreamed dreams,
you young men must see visions.
Be emboldened, achieve things
with a substance that entrusts a pristine lineage.
Hold onto glimpses of redeeming means –
but don’t crush them, treat them as vintage property.
Properly intellectualize them.
Forget monopolies – spread them with introspective guidance…
Invest time and sense as pensive prodigies.
So as your old men have dreamed dreams
And you young men see visions,
Own and lend deeds of prestige –
put away thuggish trends for a cleaner image.
This cold world’s whole extent is seeking kings, be amongst them as regents and kindred spirits.
Put aside the indifference of indecent and nude vanity –
Rather, put on the kinship of decent humanity…
Trade infrequence for more recent instances of the imbued mastery of His mission’s clearance.
Don’t sneer at it, don’t be passively dismissive –
What King dreamed demands reinvention.
Old men have dreamed dreams so that young men
and women see visions of the next revolution’s better future.
The groundwork’s been laid –
so stand up. BE ATTENTIVE!
Stop laying around with your worth betrayed –
stop being so tentative…
Seek and envision wisdom’s convention –
stop marchin’ as irreverent juniors – BE KINGS and succeed Reverend Luther!
