A product or service is nothing without creating buzz by word of mouth! There are entire marketing budgets dedicated to content that captures the imagination and attention of an audience. Who does that better than a well-written or well-spoken wordsmith?!!
The ability to create worlds with words has literally been around since the beginning of time. So, when youth begin to showcase such a God-given talent, we owe it to them to not only give them our undivided attention, but to provide the resources, platforms and means to express it fully as a part of their destiny unfolds before our eyes! Writing poetry and fiction can become a source of income: a revenue stream that, like the words themselves, reshapes available landscapes for writers to sustain themselves. We owe it to our youth to give them the chance to take command of these streams of income as early as possible.
This anthology is an open door for the featured authors to explore. Said door represents the beginning of endless possibilities for them as they see and own a published work with their names printed within its borders. The format of the book begins with a poetic introduction followed by two sections featuring five youth and young adult authors. This year’s anthology differs from the previous in that the entries are both poetry and prose in the form of short stories!
